WHO, WHEN, WHAT and WHY?
There are 11 special interest area and two regional networking groups, and their contribution to the association in directing our educational programs can never be over-estimated.
Our Interest Areas meet nearly every month via teleconference, and members gain enormously from the networking and exchange of ideas and solutions that is possible within the meeting. Those who take on the role of convenor of these committees develop skills in meeting organisation and management as well as in time and people management.
Everyone has something valuable to contribute – a thought provoking question is just as important as having the answer, as we need to think critically and keep improving our process. Your attendance makes these meetings interesting and informative! You can join the discussion or just listen in!
HOW AM I NOTIFIED AND HOW DO I CHANGE MY PREFERENCES?
A week prior to these meetings, an invitation email is sent out to members who have selected the particular interest area. Members can tailor the invitation emails they receive by updating their preferences via the ARCS website. Login to the website and select My Dashboard, then edit my profile.

Attendance at these meetings gains you 1/2 a CPD point.
